I have since discovered new info on Louis M. Skinner. He was from the Independence, Montgomery County, Kansas area. He enlisted in April of 1942 and was part of the 359th Inf Reg 1st or 3rd Battalion. That is about the limit on my knowledge of his militar service. Recalling some of his "war stories" he was part of the D-Day invasion and fought until the end of the war. Anyone know of him?
