Dad began his service with the 8th Air Force Base Air Depot 2 (BAD 2)England as a mechanic on B17 Bombers then volunteered for the infantry as a Sgt., possibly late fall of 1944. It is possible he was with the 4th Armored at this time. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Anyone Recognize this Gentleman? 2nd Lt. Ernest (Ernie) G.
