Hi there my two great uncles who were Thomas D. Duane and Daniel Duane.Thomas(S/SGT) was D company, 359th inf reg, 90th infantry and Daniel(PVT or PFC) was L company, 357th inf reg,90th infantry. They both survived the war.lknow quite alot Thomas and i have all his medals patchs Etc but Daniel is a complete mystery and i had heard from Thomas in 2001 (When i visited the states I am Irish and so were my great uncles) that he had done a number of life thretening actions during his service.Sadly i never got to talk to him because he died in the 1960'S.Any news or info on them would be very helpful. If u have any Q's just E-mail them and i'll do my best to answer.I cant find Daniels Discharge papers anywhere that includes the national archives.
P.S. Thomas was a forward observer for a 81mm mortar for a time and Daniel was just a regular infantry man.
